zinc borate is an environment-protecting non halogen flame retardants, according to the different (XZnO composed YB2O3. J ZH2O), FB flame retardants ten several varieties. The most commonly used varieties for this product - 3.5 water zinc borate, say again ZB - 2335 flame retardants. This product is non-toxic, low water-soluble, high thermal stability, particle size is small, small proportion, good dispersion characteristics, such as a kind of high-efficient flame retardants are widely used in plastic, rubber, coating etc.

Application:

Because of its big particle size in about 8um, ZB800 is mainly recommended to use in anti-corrosion, fungicide for wood preservation etc fields. Zinc Borate can protect from destroying 

organisms for wood composite materials in aboveground applications. 

It is used as an additive in the manufacturing of plastic wood material to control the growth of 

white and brown rot decay fungi.

 Zinc Borate also helps protect composite materials from damage caused by wood destroying insects, 

including subterranean termites such as Coptotermes formosanus.ZB800 is used as flame retardant and smoke suppressant in some polymer system that needs big particle size or better flowability.
